AIG Japan Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "AIG Japan") is pleased to announce the appointment of Koki Umeda as Vice Chairman of AIG Japan.

With more than 30 years of experience in the global insurance industry, Umeda is widely recognized as a respected and accomplished leader across Japan, the Americas, and Europe. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of a Japanese reinsurance company, and prior to that, held numerous key positions at a major domestic non-life insurance company.  Umeda’s extensive international experience, proven leadership, and strong track record managing complex businesses will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our market position and drive our next phase of growth in Japan.

To support a smooth transition, Hirofumi Shimoyama, who will transition to the role of Senior Advisor, and will continuing to provide strategic guidance in advancing AIG Japan’s long-term priorities.
